Jung Sky Team

Apart from being a civilian pilot, capt. Krešo holds a Master's degree in mechanical engineering and is a motor vehicle constructor and aeronautics engineer by vocation. He used to work as a flight instructor and before he founded Jung Sky with Vedran, he flew the Fokker 100.

One of his earliest memories in life are related to observing aircrafts and his desire to fly. He also remembers the time when he enjoyed composing all sorts of small aircrafts and he really loved to draw. Mainly aircrafts, but also pretty much anything associated with transport or construction.

He's quite a perfectionist by nature and does not like injustice. He's also not a fan of thinking or acting in patterns, but rather always tries to think in a slightly different and innovative way.

He's a gourmet and loves high-quality beers and wines. He adores music and actually has a special connection with it. Once upon a time he was a singer in an unknown rock band, while as a student he spent 3 years as a tenor in an academic choir where he discovered the ingenuity and beauty of classical music. He generally prefers rock, but from time to time he also likes to explore some alternative, different directions.

His biggest love is his family with whom he would love to spend more time. He enjoys being around friends although relaxes best when he's alone, observing some beautiful seaside view or any other extraordinary landscape. When he manages to catch some free time, he loves to fly small planes, e.g. Cessna 150, because that feeling, he states, is like being in a parallel world that knows no problems.

Capt. Obrazovic (nicknamed ‘Obre’) has been a pilot since he was 16. He’s a longtime president of Aero Club Velika Gorica and he has two hobbies: sports aviation and road cycling which he enjoys as much as possible.

He’s a big fan of the Apple brand and somewhat of a connoisseur of rock music and all its derivatives. From time to time, he also likes to indulge himself with classical music and some alternative musical directions from Croatia and the Balkan area.

He’s loves handball, football and Dinamo FC, although his favorite color is not blue, but orange :)

He’s definitely a summer-guy, he loves Adriatic fish and olive oil and is happiest when in central Dalmatia (Croatia). When thirsty, he’ll pick mineral water with lemon almost every time.

He’s been happily married for over 20 years now and is a father of a 9-year old son who, Obre proudly states, is a natural in mathematics and football.

Capt. Ante is happily married and a father of two, actively in aviation since he was 18 years old. He graduated in July 2000 as a military pilot after which he remained in the military the next 9 years.

Outside the cockpit, he is very active.

He likes hiking and swimming which helps him successfully achieve fitness balance because - he has no problem admitting it - he loves food, loves making pizzas and likes almost all types of beer.

He’s a fan of a good espresso, enjoys watching a good boxing or a tennis match and is very good at chess (but he’s aware that’s perhaps just his imagination).

Lovro is one of the biggest aviation lovers you’ll ever meet and since he has been involved in aviation his whole life, the last few years he really dedicated himself to making a career in it.

Besides exploring the European skies as a Jung Sky FO, every once in a while he pilots around Croatia and really enjoys flying above the seaside and the islands, especially with his father who introduced him with the aviation world in the first place.

Besides airplanes, he is interested in automotive sports and tries to follow it whenever he finds time.

He’s got a very good eye for photography so it's not rare to see his photos of Jung Sky jets on our social media. He photos everything and anything, although he’s happiest when he captures great shots of the sky at night and stormy weather, including lightning. He also loves to make a good barbecue with his family so he tries to find the time for it whenever possible.

Although most pilots say they have always seen themselves in aviation, Antun admits that was not the case for him. Yes, he has always been fascinated by airplanes, but it never occurred to him that one day he would be where he is now.

“It all started before college as a casual joke from my older brother, because his close friend was a pilot,” Antun replied when asked when and how everything began moving in the direction of becoming a pilot. “At that time, I was thinking more about programming, because I was good at it, so the plan was to go to college where I could dedicate myself to that profession. But, little by little, the joke turned into some serious self-exploring, and - few months before graduation, I decided to take a different path. Today, I am very happy and grateful for that decision.”

In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his friends, playing football and tennis, and he’s also a fan of gaming. He says he follows just about every sport — from football, tennis, handball and all the way through to a good game of chess.

What he doesn’t enjoy is ‘loosing his nerves’ during Premier League matches, but he still follows them passionately because — besides his love for the game and the best football league in the world — him and his friends are always competing in Premier League Fantasy.

But if you ask him about his greatest sports love, he’ll say without hesitation: “FC Dinamo Zagreb, of course.”

He looks forward to flying for Jung Sky because of the opportunity for professional development alongside some of the best people in the business, and he is also excited about the many cities and countries he will have the chance to discover during his shifts.

He particularly highlights Palma de Mallorca as a destination he is eager to explore, and says that visiting the stadiums of major European football clubs is also a big wish of his — something he plans to pursue whenever possible.

Ivan, who generally always had an affection towards all sorts of mechanical things, fell in love with bicycles, cars and motorcycles first, but then it all kind of evolved into passion for airplanes. His first time flying an aircraft was during college years.

In his free time, he loves to spend time outdoors, with skiing or mountain climbing being his first choice. He also mentiones road trips and enjoying a good cup of coffee on a sunny coffee shop terrace as something that relaxes him and puts a big smile to his face.

When thinking about what excites him the most about the time ahead in Jung Sky, he says he can't wait to start flying to more demanding airports, e.g. Samedan, and – he'll definitely enjoy one of the best perks of the job, and that's travelling around Europe.

His favourite food is lamb on a spit, favorite music – pretty much everything, depending on the mood, and if he wasn't a pilot, he'd probably pursue a career in IT.

Ivan has multiple years of experience in sales and client relations, and has been in aviation since 2014.

He’s a big fan of traveling and getting to know new cultures and destinations and when asked about the most interesting experiences so far, he mentions Cuba, Seychelles, USA and Russia, which was particularly favoured by his wife Ana. Although he was sure that the experience of New York would not be surpassed by any other city, his favourite destination so far is actually Saint Petersburg.

Among domestic (Croatian) places, he loves the island of Rab, where he has been spending his summers for the last 13 years.

Once or twice a week he likes to take care of his physique by playing football, and he’s also a huge fan of rafting, especially the one on rivers Una and Tara. But at the end of the day, he prefers to spend his free time with his wife and sons Toma and Jura.

He is a passionate Eurojackpot player and says he has been playing it from the very beginning. When he gets hungry, he always prefers meat over fish, especially if it is from the grill. "In recent years, I have been enjoying eating fish a lot more than before, but it’s still not comparable to a meat dish. After all, I do come from a continental family…”, he concludes.

Dalibor, a major travel-lover, has been in tourism and sales his whole life.

In his schedule of out-of-office activities, recreational swimming is present at least 4 times a week, and at least once a week he hikes on the top of Mount Medvednica (Sljeme).

If you go around his office, there’s a good chance you will hear some jazz or blues rhythms, he loves red wines, Mediterranean cuisine and is a big fan of Game of Thrones (he was born in King’s Landing :)).

Although people don't really like to talk about their wishes that remained unfulfilled, he has no problem to single one out: airedale terrier.

There was a time back in his earlier days when he thought he was going to be a sports journalist or a lawyer. But today he’s a very experienced sales representative whose encounter with aviation, he states, “happened by accident”.

Throughout his career, he has always worked in dynamic work environments. Being part of the business aviation world is no different which is why he rightfully considers communication - written and oral, inside the office and out of it – to be his home turf.

Sports has always been a big part of his character. At different points of his life he played handball, football and basketball. He practically grew up on the playground and is a big fan of the NBA, tennis, football and some other lesser known sports. He’s still very much active, although unfortunately without the ball (running, fitness, bowling, table tennis, occasional hiking…).

He’s a very sociable guy and a real espresso-and-mineral-water junkie (“It’s my everyday ritual.”). He also loves to hang out with friends, his girlfriend and his family.

Sports, music, a good movie or a book are his indispensable anti stress therapies.

First and foremost, Richard Gere is not his uncle, but he wouldn’t mind it if he was.

An air traffic engineer by profession, he loves aviation and the engineering approach to resolving problems. Math, physics, logic and natural sciences are his basis, while sports activities are an extension.

A father of a 4-year-old daughter who, like her father, loves people, travelling and discovering new things.

He used to be actively involved in kayaking for about 10 years.

He loves running, swimming, playing football, going to the gym, table tennis and windsurfing during the summer. Loves cars and motorcycles and is a proud owner of an old-timer: a MZ 175 ES/2 from 1973.

When possible, he likes to enjoy a good movie or a documentary. The Devil’s Advocate (1997) is one of his favorite films.

Passionately in love with coffee, wine, music, Italian cuisine, cooking in general, horror movies, plants, animals and crime books. And volunteering!

But let's take it one hobby at a time. She loves to drink and try different types of coffee, and will always support a visit to a nice winery.

Stating she's a music 'enthusiast' is an understatement because music really holds a special place in her life. To begin with, she has a great singing voice and likes to use and nurture that talent at church weddings. Also, she has been playing the violin since she was six years old and she plays the piano. Legend has it that, as a baby, she learned to sing and dance before she could talk and walk :)

She loves to cook, bake cakes and pies and trying out new recipes, and when in need of a break - she usually chooses a good (crime) book or stretching out in front of the TV. She is a fan of horror movies, her favorite being the-one-and-only Halloween. She's a travel-buff, plant-buff and, especially, an animal-buff. She actually wanted to become a veterinarian, but believe it or not, it turned out she's allergic to animals. All animals :(

Purple and all shades of blue are her favourite colors, she likes gardening and absolutely adores her dog Gita. At last, one of her favorite hobbies is volunteering at the Home for Abandoned Children in Vugrovec.

Davor inherited the love for aviation from his father and that love dates back to when he was still a kid. He’s an ambitious person, loves his job and really likes taking on all sorts of challenges.

He loves to travel, although he also really enjoys being at home, doing all sorts of chores around the house. After he's done with the chores, he likes to relax with a glass of wine or whiskey and, as he considers himself to be a gourmand, a nice, tasty meal is almost always a high probability.

However, when asked about what makes him the happiest and what he enjoys the most, he answers: The time I spend with my son (9 months old).

Damir’s entry into aviation was no coincidence; it began out of pure curiosity, a love for airplanes, and a need to understand how things work. Over time, that curiosity grew into a profession.

The first aircraft he ever worked on was a Cessna 172 at a pilot training center. There, he spent years learning the craft and embracing the responsibility that comes with every maintenance service as well as your signature that approves it. If he weren’t an aircraft mechanic, he would most likely be doing something that requires the same level of precision as aircraft maintenance, probably some sort of a technical and creative job that asks a steady hand and an eye for detail.

In his free time, he prefers cooking and listening to music. “Music in particular is a very important part of my everyday life, and I especially love rock. Good old, high-quality, fierce, and diverse rock.”

Alongside aviation, his greatest passion is photography, especially portraits and capturing those special and spontaneous moments that aren’t planned, but simply happen.

Our new colleague in accounting grew up in Trešnjevka in Zagreb, and says that as a little girl she always played with boys, which is why football and other “male” sports were never unfamiliar to her.

Over time, she developed a real love for dancing and to this day she absolutely loves to dance, especially to Latin American music. “Even though my dad constantly played AC/DC, Deep Purple, ZZ Top for me when I was little…,” she adds with a smile.

If you had asked her as a child what she wanted to be when she grew up, she would have fired back without hesitation: “A veterinarian!”, and although life took her in a completely different direction, that great love for animals is still very much there.

Although she says she truly loves all kinds of food, she highlights sushi, barbecue, and different types of goulash as her favorites. But if she really had to put something in first place, it would be Italian cuisine and its pasta.

Her favorite ways to relax include going out for a nice craft beer (although she immediately admits that was in the pre-kids era 😊), watching cartoons and playing with the kids, and any kind of wellness weekend - ideally in the mountains, where peace and quiet create perfect conditions for a massage, sauna, walks, and exploring the outdoors.

Depending on her moood, she enjoys different kinds of music, and the same goes for movies, as long as it’s not a horror movie. When it comes to books, from time to time she likes to return to the Harry Potter world. As for TV series, she highly recommends two she got completely hooked on: Lucifer and Preacher.

As for travel, her big wishes are the Maldives, Bali, and Dubai. She also says she would love to spend three weeks in the U.S. and taking a motorcycle ride from the East Coast to the West Coast.

The first PR person ever hired by Jung Sky (which makes him feel really proud) has great affection for the western movie genre, which he picked up from his father, and is a big fan of original film scores, the Arctic Monkeys, Christmas atmosphere, the New Jersey Devils and Leo Messi.

He started to organize quiz nights, but it remains to be seen whether or not this will become a true hobby.
